Tim’s approach to "play for the song” has attracted the interest of various musicians and led to many partnerships in the studio and with bands over the last 20 years.

Tim’s style reflects his eclectic influences. His experience has included various styles within Christian and secular music.  His approach is systematic.  Think Steely Dan and Tower of Power with all the heaviness of Judas Priest.

Tim has provided instruction to those with various degrees of experience, developing instructional programs tailored to meet individual educational objectives while making lessons enjoyable and exciting.

Tim’s approach to instruction involves providing a strong foundation from which to develop percussive experience and ergonomic considerations important to efficient performance behind the drum set. From there he builds upon basic concepts of reading music, developing styles, economy of motion and other key concepts critical to success on the road to instrument mastery.
